When to Visit

The best time to visit Peru varies by region but generally, the drier winter season of April to October is the best time for visiting Cusco, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca. The rainiest months in this region are usually January and February. The coastal cities of Lima, Arequipa and Nazca are year-round destinations but clearer, hotter days are more likely in December through May.
